Observations at Field: Gyaspur Area

  -By Akhil Soni

Sometimes, we weigh happiness against material goods like money, amenities and various other things. But, we forget the fact that even the poorest of poor people find a way to
be happy in the most adverse of conditions and sometimes even the richest with all kinds of  amenities and facilities fail to do so. So, this is a misconception that more the rich happier he is. This is evident by an example that as we visited gyaspur slum, people their hardly         make the ends meet with what they earn but still we found a state of happiness among             them. So , we should never weigh happiness with richness.
It is often said that childhood is the best stage of your entire life and we all wish11211794_736202103172341_581856586_o
to get back to our childhood at some or the other point of our life after it is gone. As
SRISTI organized an children workshop, I got an opportunity to
interact with the kids, play with them and being a child with a child. Also, while
interacting with them, I felt all nostalgic and my childhood
memories came flashing on in front of my eyes. Also, at night when the workshop
ended, I played with the kids and they all enjoyed a lot which
in turn made my day and made me happier. It feels great when you realize the fact
that kids like you and they have a good time enjoying with you.
